Tin Bird Choir is an alt-folk barn rock band from Chester County Pennsylvania. Their unique sound has spread through radio stations across the country, earning their first record, Barn Rock, a debut spot at #9 on the roots music chart. Their music has been featured prominently on Philadelphia radio station WXPN and they’ve graced some of the region’s most celebrated stages, such as the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the World Cafe Live, Johnny Brenda’s, and the Kimmel Center, as well as The Bitter End in New York City.

Their music resonates with love and loss as they wail and rock and try to squeeze a bit of light from the time and place they live in. With literate lyrics, organic harmonies, and urgent melodies, their songs seem to say, “Hey, I have been through some heartache and joy, and here is my story, can you relate?” It’s a revival, this barn rock, a soulful meander through life’s richness and darkness, described in the press as intelligent and original, “a throwback to old times when music was simple, often quirky, and even a little spooky.”
